JYD Industries Packexe SMASH Edge

JYD Industries' Packexe SMASH Edge allows first responders to safely break, handle, and remove glass from a vehicle or a building window during extrication.

A compact version of the Packexe SMASH Kit, the SMASH Edge consists of a roll of 4” wide x 164’ long adhesive film mounted on a one-hand operated dispenser. The patented foam-roller system securely applies the adhesive film on tempered or laminated glass to protect the rescuer and trapped patients from injury.

Once wrapped, the glass can then be broken and removed in entire sections, reducing the risk of leftover shards. Alternatively, the wrapped glass can be left in place to allow for a faster extrication process. Convenient and easy to use, the SMASH Edge allows firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and other first responders to effectively handle hazardous glass when extricating patients from small vehicles and other tight spaces.
