This unit can be used for multiple functions; the slide switch was designed to be used with a light bar, with the choice of what lights were needed at the time, all the rotators at once, just the 2 outboard ones, flashers front / rear etc. The push buttons could be used for take down lights, alley lights, interlock for the shot gun, or lock for the trunk. Like we said a lot of different uses.
Shawn, yes a 100 watt speaker will work with this siren. as for cable to use you can use speaker cable or When I was the local fire chief I used 2 strand electric cable the kind that was used in extension cords, I went to the local hardware store purchased a long enough extension cord cut the ends off, added the correct sta-cons I would need to connect to the speaker and the back of the siren, and made sure everything was grounded correctly and I was in business.
