How does the sizing run?

The sizing chart can be found at the bottom of the details tab. It normally runs true to size.

Is the fabric water resistant or water repellent? It is also rip-stop or cut resistant?

The newer the fabric the better it will be water repellent, they are not considered water proof, the Nomex and the Advance fabrics will be the better of the 3 choices, with the Advance the best, the combo of Kevlar and Nomex together (Advance) will be the more effective against any ripping or cut resistance.

Please explain the three fabric choices in terms of flexibility/softness/toughness... Thank you, Bill

Choose the fabric that suits you best. You can select the proven protection and light weight of 6 oz Nomex IIIA fabric. Or you can enjoy the softness and easy care of 7oz. TecaSafe Plus fabric. Whatever your preference, you'll enjoy rugged durability, total dedicated functionality, and the ability to take you wherever your interface situation demands. I would recommend the 6oz Nomex as the proven fabric over the others, the Advance is the top of the line and will provide the best protection of the 3, and the Tecasafe as less protection but the softness of the 3 100% Nomex 6oz not very soft, will soften up over time/use, great protection, Advance 7oz 60% Kevlar, 40% Nomex, Excellent abrasion resistance, cut resistance,
