A blanket of foam — fast!
A convenient, self-contained system ideal for class A or class B AFFF foam application. Everything you need is contained in one portable unit that attaches to the end of your 1" or 1.5" fire hose.
The PRO/pak has a high impact 2.5 gallon foam reservoir with a built-in eductor that can be quickly set to the ratio of foam or wetting agents being used. A large, easy-open fill port has an indicator to show the type of liquid in the tank.
Flow is controlled by a twist grip valve on the carrying handle. Select the discharge velocity that meets your needs for inlet pressure between 40 and 500 psi. The nominal flow is 12 gpm at 100 psi.
The PRO/pak Portable Foam System comes with three different quick connect nozzles, a discharge hose, and a cap. The straight-stream nozzle gives maximum reach and penetration. The low-expansion nozzle works well with Class A and B foam solutions where reach is more important than expansion ratio. The medium-expansion nozzle produces dense foam that is best for vapor suppression and longevity.
With one tank of 1% concentrate the PRO/pak can make 15,000 gallons of finished foam using 250 gallons of water in 21 minutes, based on 60:1 expansion from the medium-expansion nozzle.

Pro PAC Foam unit is the best

As a state certified volunteer firefighter in the Austin, Texas area we get a lot of brush and wildfires. My fire department has several pro PAC foam units and they are incredibly effective. When fighting brush fires with burning trees they tend to smolder for a long time. This requires constant dousing with water. Utilizing a foam injection system, like Pro Pac, greatly enhances the ability to smother the smoldering embers and greatly reduces the amount of time required of firefighters and amount of water needed. There's a few of these units used in our department and surrounding departments.
<br>Here's the deal... it's awkward to carry for the tradeoff of a very easy to use foam application system. Brush truck, engine, pumper-tanker, etc. Just attach at the end 9f your attack line and use. No sections of hose to rinse, eliminates concentrate setting in you apparatus tanks congealing, perfect small FD use.
