Roy, no it is not a NFPA standard hose, it's more like a garden hose
Yes, you are correct, it rolls flat, and has GHT (garden hose threads), not sure what a garden hose plug is? I have used this hose in the past let me tell you some of the things we ran into; we were using in the station for washing the apparatus, engine room floors, members were washing their cars in the parking lot, etc that sort of thing. We also had 100' rolled up and carried on the Brush unit and the Tanker that we stored in the glove box's of each (that's how small the hose was rolled up). We ran into a problem with the untreated hose getting pin holes/rub holes from dragging it across the floors and parking lots, not made to hold up in that type of use. I would recommend you look at the treated hose, it is made to stand up to the rough use, just my 2 cents.
