Rapid Deploymen Flow Path Barrier
Control air movement, control the fire:
The ability for any fire department to rapidly deploy barriers aiding in directive fire movement, growth and behavior is worth its weight in gold. the Tempest Pathmaster is made from a lightweight, fire resistant material which allows for any firefighter to do just that.
A tool with many uses, the Tempest Pathmaster is valuable asset in attempting to:
Control Smoke Movement & Damage
- Control/reduce smoke movement and damage
- Redirect interior flow paths
- Reduce doorway size to increase PPV performance
Fire smoke is super heated, and travels through the upper portion of any doorway/ventilation point quickly spreading throughout the building; bilinding, choking and harming anything in contact. The Pathmaster creates a temporary blockade, almost entirely eliminating smoke movement between rooms/buildies helping to prevent unnecessary smoke risk/damage.
Redirect Interiro Flow Paths
Flow Path's influence on fire behavior is becoming increasingly apparent. The Pathmaster allows a firefighter to easily open and close flow paths, putting fire control in the department's hands.
Amplify PPV - Increase Pressure
The Pathmaster can be effectively used to reduce doorway size. In doing so, a fightfighter is able to place a PPV fan even closer to the ventilation point while still being able to create the necessary seal. Having the fan closer to the ventilation point increase internal pressures and resulting ventilation rate.
