Petzl’s AM’D TRIACT-LOCK D-Shaped Carabiner securely connects to your rope system equipment and provides an optimal performance during maneuvers.

The asymmetrical aluminum AM’D carabiner has a D shape design that’s particularly suited for connection to equipment such as descenders or positioning lanyards. The carabiner can also be connected to Petzl’s CAPTIV Bar to favor positioning along its major axis, thus keeping it integrated with the device and preventing it from flipping. The H profile ensures an improved strength-to-weight ratio. The fluid interior design limits the risk of having a catch point and makes it easier to rotate the carabiner, while the keylock system helps prevent the carabiner from snagging during maneuvers. Featuring a triple-action gate opening, the TRIACT-LOCK automatic locking system helps ensure that the carabiner remains safely connected to the device and securely locked when in use.
