Designed for use with IFSTA Hazardous Materials for First Responders (4th Edition), this digital curriculum uses a graphics-based PowerPoint delivery that allows students to focus on the ideas and content being delivered, not just the words projected onto the screen. By decreasing the amount of text on the slides and emphasizing graphics and interactive Flash objects, the curriculum provides more opportunities for real life illustration and the ability to discuss concepts more concretely. The curriculum incorporates review questions and learning activities into instructional time. The review and discussion questions are sequenced to encourage student participation, both individually and as a class. 4th Edition (2011).
