Designed for use with IFSTA Principles of Vehicle Extrication (3rd Edition), this digital curriculum covers the information necessary to meet Awareness-level, Operations-level, and Technician-level vehicle extrication training. The curriculum addresses Sections 6.4.1 and 6.4.2 of NFPA 1001 – 2008 Edition (Standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications); Chapters 4, 5 (Sections 5.1 through 5.5), and 10 of NFPA 1006 – 2008 Edition (Standard for Technical Rescue Personnel Professional Qualifications); and Chapters 4, 8, and 12 of NFPA 1670 – 2009 Edition (Standard on Operations and Training for Technical Search and Rescue Incidents).
The curriculum includes PowerPoint presentations, instructor outlines, review questions and answer page references, and test questions and answers. The materials were designed for a 30-hour course, but they can be easily customized to suit the instructors' preferences or local needs. 3rd Edition (2011).
