Ratings & Reviews
Serious EMS boots
Great duty boots. Go on quick and easy. Super comfortable.
Haix Airpower R2 Review - Great Boots
Overall, one of the best pairs of boots I've owned. VERY comfortable, next to no 'break-in' period required. I ordered the Wide version - which I found fit my feet rather well; however, I find that their width runs a TINY bit on the small side. If in doubt, go with the wider boot. The boots are built well; however, I do worry about scuffing the toe area of the boot as I am continually on my knees as a medic. With that said, I've currently had these boots for 2 months and haven't had too much of an issue. Overall, I highly recommend these boots - especially for those working in Emergency Services.
Best boot ever
These are the best boots I have ever owned and I would defiantly buy a second pair
Best boot I've owned.
I tried every station boot available looking for the perfect fit. The haix were last on my list mainly because of price. It true you get what you pay for. Great boot, very comfortable and well made. I also appreciate that they make a 13.5.
Great work boot
I wear these as my station boots. They are incredibly comfortable and super durable.
Easy to use boot that is durable.
Best Boot I've Had
Boot is very well made and comfortable. I have wide feet so the availible wide sizing is very nice. Have had to walk long distances on uneven ground where the boot provided excellent support and comfort. Also boot stays cool on hot days.
Good construction, poor fit
Ordering online without being able to try the boots on prior has not been the best experience.
"Anyone have any idea how to remove the old chin straps to put these on?"
The directions that come with the new strap say to take a pair of scissors to remove the old strap, we have this in stock at this time, just follow the directions that come with the new strap.
"I am wanting to know comfort, issues with rubbing causing blisters, warranty and how long they last."
Everyone has different feet. I have never heard of any negative feedback. Haix is a high quality boot maker, so you should expect a long life from them. You can read the current reviews on the boot below. http://www.thefirestore.com/store/product.aspx/productId/1043/Haix-Airpower-R2-8-Station-EMS-Boot-with-CROSSTECH-Men-s-NFPA/#ReviewTabs

"What is the width in comparison to the Warrington Pro? I wear a 10E in the 3003 but I only see two size widths with these."
Chief, they are a ""E"" width, Haix wide equals an ""E"", anything wider will have to go back to Haix and ask if they will build wider than an ""E"" width
"How much does it weigh?"
a pair of these boots size 9 will weigh 3.8Lbs. If you need a size larger they will increase by a 3 or 4 oz. each size
"I am a paramedic in Vermont and my feet get cold, I am looking for a warm boot that is comfortable, thoughts?"
It's all personal preference. I can't recommend any particular brand or model because my version of ""warm"" may be different than yours.
"My fianc__ is a career firefighter and has plantar fasciitis. I want to buy him some station boots that are super comfortable for his 24 hour shifts. Price isn't a huge issue but I prefer to stay under $300 if possible. He won't spend money on himself and I don't want him in pain. Since this is a gift and I'm picking it out, I'm concerned with finding the best support and proper fit available. I'm willing to buy inserts, as well, if necessary. Are these the best boots I can buy him with those restraints?"
Haix boots are known for their high comfort level because of their Arch Support system, MSL system. However we cannot guarantee these boots will address your concerns.
"Is there any metal in these boots? Are they Metal detector friendly?"
There is no metal in these boots.
