Serves well.

I myself use the gloves for rescue operations. They are very dexteritous, with a tough material on the palm and fingers for added grip. My gloves have a stitch on the inside of the gloves that etches in to my hand. But that isn't really a problem.

Q&A's:

"Are these gloves water proof??"

No, these are not waterproof.

"Can they be used as a replacement for regular non-latex gloves for patient care?"

These gloves are not designed for patient care. Nitrile or latex gloves should be worn for proper BBP protection during patient care.

"Can they be used as a replacement for regular non-latex gloves for patient care?"

Definitely not. Besides the fact that they are pourous you would be transmitting from one patient to the next.

"So does the size of the glove includes the length?"

The size of the glove is your hand size, XSm, Sm, Med, Lg, XLg, 2XLg or Jumbo are glove hand sizes and have nothing to do with the length of the glove.

"These gloves say their Rope Rescue/EMS gloves, can you clarify how they are used as an EMS glove? Do they have a protective barrier or are they rated for EMS? I was also curious how these gloves should fit(Loose or Fitted)?"

We reached out to the manufacture for them to explain to us how they came up with this description, and they responded back with; They were made for first responders not specifically for EMS workers as they don't have any type of Pathogen liner. We will change our web page to reflect that these gloves are not EMS gloves

"Are these extrication gloves, or just for technical rescue"

Bill, they are whatever you want to use them for, except fire fighting, they are not for that, nor are they water proof, or EMS

"is there cut protection on the top of the hand as well as the palm? some brands only provide cut protection on the palm of their vehicle extrication/rescue gloves this leaves the top of the hand and fingers exposed to puncture and cut injuries. thanks, radar."

There is nothing in print, but they told us this glove would be a class 1 cut protection,

"Are they NFPA Certified???"

Sorry to our knowledge there is no NFPA standard for rescue gloves.
